Giving Credit where it's due, the Rev. Mark Tyler, PhD gave me the idea to start sharing my thoughts online. Dr. Tyler is running for Historian of the AME church, and utilized the blog format in his campaign. This is the direction we are headed, and the good Rev. was ahead of his time. We are praying for much success for you in St. Louis.
Next credit goes to Alfie, fellow 30Krunk representative(PSU), who gave me the push to get it moving. Good looks Alf.
THE AME Church. Philadelphia is the Mother district of African Methodism. The home of Richard and Sarah Allen, and the birthplace of a denomination that has spread the Gospel, and liberated people for over two centuries. We are called to be Ambassadors for Christ. "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:20. It is my mission to serve Jesus, live for Jesus, seek Jesus daily, and be His representative on Earth; to proclaim His glorious gospel which saved my soul from the Pit!
This blog is just the natural extension of my daily word of the day text messages, and Word of the Day facebook messages. It is my prayer that constructive conversations will come from the blog, and that lives will be enriched.
Grace and Peace
Stan
